Here's the set modelled and UV Mapped, just photoshopping some textures left to do.
Any thoughts?

  2. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but didn't one of the tutors say something about focusing more on Alan than the cardboard scene? I was thinking we could move on from the whole cardboard/2D aesthetic for the background and instead do the buildings and bushes in 3D. The fence is great, though. I'm not 100% sure; I'll have to check with Alan if this was the case or not.

Also, have you modeled the other side of the street for the final scene when Alan wheels off into the sunset down the road? For that, we may need to extend the length of the scene and have the street mirrored on both sides.

Perhaps, to save time, you could have the street follow a curve like a circle if Alan were to start on top of the circle. As he's rolling off into the sunset, it would give the illusion of him disappearing off into the horizon, very much like how 2D animated cartoons do it.

  3. Additionally, I love how, in the last picture, the curvature of the background gives the illusion of a horizon.
