Portable Shelter - Cam 01 Re-animate
I've touched up the animation on the first 149 frames of this scene, I'm still not sure about the anticipation, I think it will need tweaking again

Portable Shelter Scene Render
The slight jump in the middle is the camera change, this is edited out by an information card displayed between the two segments
There are still some things I'm not happy with, for example some of the animation is a bit slidey and floaty and perhaps some american defence branding on the shelter itself

Commie-B-Gone Spray Sequence Playblast
Commie-B-Gone Spray Sequence Playblast
F.A.O. Team
Hey, just some housekeeping-
If you can make any videos you embed 640 width and 360 height
and images x-large it will keep the look of the blog nice and big and clean
:)
Liberty Defender Scene: Finished (?)
Just 'gotta do the outro now where he rolls off into the sunset. How would I go about making the backdrop out of the standard street?
Also, we should definitely be searching for some cartoon sound effects for this guy. :P

F.A.O. Team - Animation
Ok with the deadline pretty much sitting on us now,
We've broken the animation into sections to all do some
I've done the introduction, just ironing out some little bits that aren't flowing as smooth as they should
Joey : Commie-B-Gone Spray
Nat : Portable Shelter
Tom : Liberty Defender
Don't forget to use the reference footage
http://anecdotestudios.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/animation-ref-footage.html
All the files are on dropbox, don't worry about the textures for the minute, we can apply them once it's all animated - that's where the time needs to be spent for the moment so we can then apply everything and move onto the render farm
GO! :)

Music backgrounds
Here I've found some music that could perhaps be in our animation, I've put the two together into one video plus added some grainy effects alongside with the originals, have a listen and let me know what yous think! :D
Animation Sample - To start feeding the Excitement
I can't stop seeing Tom's actions in this (especially the scared bit)
@ Tom & Joey
If you two can do a major surf on the net for a perfect piece of music for this animation then go for it :)

Alan joints and facial movement test
A movement test on Alan's joints, eyes and facial expressions. :D
Alan's new UVs.
I was on the verge of cracking trying to re-lay these stubborn-ass UVs. Please, no more! I beg of you! Have mercy! D:
Unfortunately, it's being buggy and doing that thing where it's issuing the UVS to separate faces again. Do you think you may be able to fix that again, Nat? >.<"

FAO: Anecdote Studios Team- Alan Character settings
Guys, just a little note here on getting the "perfect
expressions" if yous want it on the Alan model.
To find the Jaw Ctrl-its at the back of his head. I've put that and the eye ctrls (on the right) both indicated in yellow.
Just move the Jaw rotate to the digit written below and
ta-da!!
(Sorry got carried away during rigging and thats how its ended up at
the back of his head!!)
Please Note: The
jaw rotate default for his mouth to close is -32. I dont know how that happened
but -32 is the number!
Numbers to put under jaw rotate for the "perfect
expression":
Eee - -21.32
Uuu - -12.1
Ooo - -23
Mm/Bb - -32
Argh - -6.17
Frown - -32
Deafult Mouth Close - -32
Also all the files and backup on the character are on the Dropbox folder under "Alan_Model". Let me know if theres any problems accessing them.
F.A.O. Tom
Ok, now Joey is finished, if you can re-layout the UVs as we discussed and then I shall re-texture him so he's all sorted before I animate
Alan-rigged,skinned,blended= complete!!
Finally after many weeks, I've got the character all rigged, skinned and blend shaped ready for animating!! ^_^ There was a slight mishap when it came to blendshaping the model's expressions like teeth getting stuck, twitching and many other bits and bobs. Many thanks to Alan for helping to get this fixed!!

Wheelchair: New UVs to Prevent Stretching
The main seat of the wheelchair (excluding the battery pack and wire) and the wheels have all been mirrored in order for easier texturing. Feel free to give me feedback as to whether or not this -is- helpful, though. >.<
Added to Dropbox under the name "Wheelchair2.mb"
Chair
Switch
Wheel (Same UV for all 4)

Alan rigging and skinning update 2
"(middle) Mouth and Jaw set to "Eee" expression" |
"(middle) mouth and jaw relaxed" |
Another small update this time, his arms, legs and head are all rigged and skinned with just the mouth shapes to go. So far, following the tutorial, this is my first attempt in recreating the mouth shape for "Eee". This still needs some retweaking since the mouth shape for "E" has a strange look on his face. Won't be long til he's ready to go!! :D
Wheelchair Model
I was asked by Nat to see if i could try my hand at the wheelchair for our final production. Whatchya think?
